on tuesday, gary called me while i was writing a stupid paper for overly stupid theater class.
he was all “hey babe let’s go play bowling fo’ free and eat free food and blahblahblah for an even that IEEE is throwing”.
(i inserted the fo’ free)
why did i say yes? was it because of the fun of free bowling?
WRONG. rofl… free food, bishes.
but honestly, this ttly free adventure actually cost me about… 30$
first, we went to sep to hang around because that’s where gary was waiting for me and near where my mom dropped me off.
we were bored and had an hour or so to kill before the even actually started.

and then we were like… let’s just go to the game room (cuz that’s where the bowling alley is…)
we walked over there while gary was wearing my halloween safety headlight… (errr. lemme get a pic of this some other time)
since the game room is basement level we decided to go to the university book store before going down the stairs.
there i spent 10$ on burt’s bees lipglosses (honey flavor [which i opened first and srsly HATED so i thought i wasted monies…], regular shiz [which i opened the next day and actually liked], and red tinted shimmer [tried it out on thanksgiving… was very shimmery]) because all the people’s on flik-ah are like “OMGsquue-GASMforBEES” when someone posts a picture of the junk in their bag. and about 5$ on a crappeh chocolate that gary wanted to munch on… i say crappy because we didn’t know what the price was and just bought it and the current price on the register’s view thing went from 10$ to 15$ and it wasn’t that big or that great to cost THAT much.
so then we bounced down the stairs into the game room and were again bored.
we wandered around the video games, the pool tables, the ping pong tables and so on…
then out the door to buy ice cream shakes at shasta’s.

gary got peaches and i got strawberry. i didn’t like his.
we made about 7$ into quarters 2$ from gary 5$ from me.
we played basketball hoops about 2x each, played a video game against each other (rofl, gary was a girl and i was a panda- he beat me), and i did the DDR tutorial.

after waiting 30 minutes more the free bowling lanes opened and we had some fun. (with free pizza and coke)

i had lots of fun and makes me wanna go there another time <3

i was cleaning out back the other day and got some cool new photos of my luff bobo. he turned 3 this past october so I thought it was time for an update of the fatteh.

I didn’t vote. The weekend I was going to register *err yess at the last minute* I was super distracted by a genetics paper (which i made a 92 on, bishes)…

I think… I knew he would win. He has a sort of political charisma that cannot be denied. I’m happy that he won… it seemed so smoothly. I will forever be ashamed not to participate in this historical election, but I’m happy it went the way I wanted it to.

I tell Gary… if something happens to him from the hands of narrow minded human beings… I will be hurt and sooo sad for a very long time.

I wish him well. He has a lot to face. I think he’s strong enough to deal with all the bullshit going on… I have that faith.

First, I should mention that I no longer play fiesta. That summer addiction came to an end on Oct 2nd.

I posted something on their forums but they have so many restrictions and a new one was that you could no longer have goodbye threads. *eyeroll* But, if you’re interested here is what I posted:

Since Oct. 2nd I’ve uninstalled a precious addiction. My level 1 controlled substance went into the recycling bin. It has been hard. I didn’t even get to say goodbye… because I guess it’s forbidden around these parts to do so? Oh how I will not miss the restrictions of this forum… BUT there are people and pixelated places I will… well. I am missing. I apologize to Lanowar_Elf specifically. It’s a game- but you can’t get “married” to an amazing friend you met over the summer then leave without a sense of betrayal. A few months. A hell of a lot of drama. People. Goodbyes. Well, how do I post a last post without getting it deleted so soon by officially saying goodbye? I guess I can’t. So anyone who sees this before it possibly goes poof… if you know anyone who knows me… tell them I’ll miss them and I’m fine and they made my summer an interesting one. If you want to contact me just PM me.

and the reason for the slight nostalgia… a package I received this week:

Something interesting that happened a little before I quit fiesta was Hurricane Ike (the weekend of September 14). The storm wasn’t that bad. A lot of wooooooooooooooosh from the wind and because of that trees went bananas so for roughly two weeks we didn’t have electricity. For the first few nights after the storm, everything was fine because it was cool outside and we could stay home, but once it started to get hot we spent a lot of time at my grandma’s house which led to us eventually staying over in my uncle’s room. It was a PAIN to live without internet, sleeping when I wanted to, doing my work without distractions. I also think I gained about 5 pounds eating because my mom was always cooking: breakfast, lunch, dinner for everyone in the family who didn’t have electricity. I was never so happy and appreciative of my home and privacy until our lights and air conditioning were on.

Other than that I’ve had school. Genetics and the lab (rawr flylab), Theater, and Pols. I’ve been doing okay but again worrying about how fast I’m reading and going through the test material for Genetics lecture.

Oh! and now some random stuffies.

Becuase I quit fiesta I’m back to trolling Gaia forums. I think I’m going to start collecting some art again.

Since the hurricane I’ve been quite addicted to pho soup:

My tmobile contract ended this september and in Oct I renewed a plan that added a line for my mom (originally the new line was supposed to get my brother a california number but that didn’t work out). My new phone is the tmobile wing. Gary fumbled around looking for the best rom to enhance it and I luff it (admittedly the cpu is le ghey and sometimes is stalls on me even with the new stuffs). I was waiting for the case I bought for it to come in before I take photos of it- so expect those soon.

 I got a new haircut and while at the salon I bought a chi because the hair straightener Gary bought me three years ago is slowly dying and when you use it frizzes your hair. Pictures of the new haircute are already up in my flikr gallery:

 mmm, after my haircut my mom became a member of the newly opened costco to buy my new glasses. My exam was 50$. The membership was 50$ but they gave you 25$ on a costco card. The glasses were 160$. Honestly, a hell of a lot cheaper than what I usually pay at Sear’s and I think better lenses and quality. New photos here:
